    The situation

    A distributor counted annually and ran at roughly 78% location accuracy. Pickers routinely searched for stock the system said was there, and the annual count produced a write-off nobody could explain.

    What changed

    Scanning and cycle counting brought accuracy above 99%. Picking time fell, the annual shutdown count was dropped entirely, and the write-off became a small, explained adjustment.

    The situation

    A business with two sites held one aggregate stock figure. Orders were promised on total availability and then discovered to need an inter-site transfer that added three days.

  • Rugged Android scanners are the sensible choice for a busy warehouse, and we will specify them. A phone camera works for lower volumes, and label printers are standard Zebra-compatible units rather than anything proprietary.

  • You can, and the system supports full counts with count sheets, blind counting and variance approval. Most customers move to perpetual counting once accuracy is high, because the annual shutdown stops being worth the disruption.

  • Both, at item level, with full genealogy from goods-in through production to despatch. Expiry dates, certificates and test results are held against the batch, and FEFO picking is supported where shelf life matters.

  • Yes. Stock movements post to the nominal ledger via the accounting integration, so the balance sheet figure matches the warehouse figure without a reconciliation spreadsheet standing between them.

  • Yes - consignment stock at customer sites, customer free-issue material and supplier-owned stock on your premises are all tracked separately from your own inventory and valued correctly.
