Most comparison pages are written to make one product look inevitable. These are not. Every page below states plainly when the other system is the better choice - because you will find out either way, and it is cheaper for both of us if you find out now.

How these pages are written
- Every statement about another product is a structural fact published by that vendor - how it is licensed, how it is deployed, whether it is sold direct or through partners. We do not comment on anybody’s quality, reliability or roadmap.
- We do not quote competitor prices. They change, they vary by reseller and territory, and a stale figure on our site would be unfair to them and misleading to you. We describe the shape of the pricing instead, so you know what to ask for.
- Each page carries a “when they are the better choice” section. If we could not find a case where the other system wins, the page would not be here.
- We are not a partner, reseller or affiliate of any vendor listed. All trade marks belong to their respective owners.

A note on fairness
Every product on this list has customers who are happy with it, and several of them do things we deliberately do not do at all. If you read one of these pages and conclude the other system is right for you, that is a good outcome and we would rather you reached it here than eighteen months into an implementation with us.
If you spot something on these pages that is out of date or wrong - including if you work for one of the vendors listed - tell us and we will correct it.
